We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join Renishaw’s Technology, Privacy & Security Law team.
Key point of contact for technology and privacy law related matters.
Draft and negotiate technology contracts, including software licensing and SaaS agreements.
Draft and negotiate data processing agreements.
Conduct vendor due diligence.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and changing privacy laws and regulations.
Keep up to date on the latest guidance and best practices within the privacy field (including cyber security).
Maintain appropriate data processing records.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure that privacy issues are considered by design.
Prepare and provide training.
2-3 years' experience of commercial contract drafting and negotiation
Knowledgeable advisor on privacy related matters
Strong attention to detail
Highly motivated self-starter with a “can do” attitude
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate at all levels
Highly competent IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, contract management systems)
IAPP or similar privacy qualifications
