The Role: The Senior Account Director role builds upon the responsibilities of an Account Director while incorporating elements of the Associate Director role. This position entails taking ownership of specific accounts and actively seeking solutions to drive team, business, and agency growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own client strategy, manage client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead client meetings to influence marketing strategy and drive agenda.
  • Drive creative excellence and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish budgets, scopes, and timelines.
  • Oversee revenue forecasting, financial reporting, and budget management.
  • Manage client relationships at all levels and take ownership of issue resolution.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process management efforts.
  • Provide leadership to direct and virtual teams responsible for client deliverables.
  • Manage GDPR compliance and ensure adherence to data policies.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Account Management experience.
  • Ability to create a vision and strategy for brands.
  • Experience in delivering change management programs.
  • Excellent relationship management skills across different geographies and organizational levels.
  • Effective people leadership and line management abilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management experience.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and integrated communications.
  • Experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical market.
  • Previous agency environment experience.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong influencing skills with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Experience working with geographically disparate teams across global clients.
