Searcys are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to work within one of our City based venues.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working closely with the Hospitality Head Chef on a wide variety of events including private dining and canape' functions.

As a Senior Chef de Partie at Searcys your main role would be to assist with the production of fine dining dishes, buffets and canape creation. If you like the excitement and variety that comes with events rather than producing the same menu each day then this may be the role for you. This is a great opportunity for a work life balance as we are working Monday – Friday and during the day, however we do sometimes have evening events.

Full Time 

Monday to Friday 

£34,000

Overtime paid over 40 hours 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times
  • Communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary
  • Collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area ensuring equipment is in good working order
  • Proven experience working in a Chef de Partie role or similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
