Pick Everard are seeking a knowledgeable individual as a Senior Project Manager, to join us at our Nottingham office as part of a collaborative, dynamic and supportive team.
 
You will lead work on behalf of Government organization’s. The role is client focused and process driven, with often a concentration on the front end of projects. Embedding protocols and driving all aspects of design management are central to the work, coupled with direct client interaction as the first point of contact. You will be oversee and manage the  control of the project both pre- and post-contract including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages. You will also be responsible for the generation of new work, including leading and participating in the preparation and presentation of bids.
 
In this role, you will mainly be working in Nottingham and throughout the Midlands, with occasional travel to Wales; a willingness to travel is essential.

About You

Our ideal Senior Project Manager must have:

  • 5+ years industry experience, having worked in a similar role in the design or construction management environment
  • Have a good understanding of forms of building contract and experience of contract administration (NEC/JCT/PPC2000)
  • Eligibility to obtain, or existing possession of SC level Security Clearance is required to fulfil the duties of this role
  • A comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles

It would be nice for you to have:

  • Member of a construction related professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, etc.
  • HNC, HND, a project management, architectural, engineering / construction related degree or related transferrable experience
  • A good understanding of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Project
  • Excellent bid writing and presentation skills – comfortable speaking to groups both online and in person.
