PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centers nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centers across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Runcorn Distribution Centre.

Working within a busy pharmaceutical warehouse environment you will be accurately assembling customer orders, efficiently picking customer orders for shipment and ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped on time. You will need to meet minimum productivity and quality standards and comply with policies and legal requirements in relation to the role.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you’ll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

 

Salary/Working Pattern

An average of 39.5 hours, working Monday to Friday 4pm till 12am, with 1 in 2 Sundays from 8am till 12pm. 

Base rate of £11.63 per hour, with an additional 20p per hour for hours between 4pm to 10pm (£11.83), an additional 25% for hours between 10pm and 12am (£14.54)

 

Training and Support

You will receive a comprehensive induction from the Learning and Development Facilitators.
